Tall Tales Taxidermy Rentals’ goal is to provide quality taxidermy mounts for every need. Be it for a movie, TV, commercial, photo shoot or to impress visiting in-laws, Tall Tales can help.
We rent life-sized mounts and shoulder mounts to independent filmmakers, artists, photographers, reality shows, production companies and the not so lucky hunters having a party.
We have eleven life-sized bears, both black bears and brown (grizzly bears). Most of these bears are free sitting/standing with no base and are easily moved around. The inventory also includes a wide array of shoulder mounts and other life-sized mounts, both small and large in size.
Yukon Grubaugh, owner of Tall Tales Taxidermy and Tall Tales Taxidermy Rentals has worked in taxidermy for 30 years and as a lifelong Alaskan, Yukon’s work is regarded as the highest quality.
Tall Tales Taxidermy Rental division has over 200 mounts to choose from, including: Alaskan Moose, Alaskan Caribou, Alaskan Wolverine mounts and many more both North American Mammals and more exotic mammals and even a few birds and fish.

Rental Pricing: Most shoulder mounts and rugs are rented at $300 the first day and $100 per day thereafter. Life-sized bears are rented at $600 for the first day and $300 for each additional day. If you need to fill a room with critters for a week, we can work on a rental price.
Rental Payment and Damage Policy: Payment for all rentals is due at the time of pickup. Credit cards will be left on file for the value of the mount. Shoulder mounts are valued at $3000.00 and life-sized bears are valued at $8000.00. If a mount returns damaged Tall Tales Taxidermy reserves the right to charge the renter the value of the mount plus the rental fee. Minor damages to any mount will be billed at normal shop rate for repairs.
